even though we have not met for at least 6 months, we seemed to be able to pick up right where we left off and so althou most of them had work the next morning, we stayed till past midnight when we sang eryan's bdae song and den cabbed back.
i am so glad for birthdays coz its a great chance for all of us to meet up amidst our busy scedules. :)

Tuesday, 8th July, Kei Jung* and younger sister Kei Tiang* headed to Orchard to get Kei Tiang's contact lenses.
After making their order at Lucky Plaza, they went to Taka Food Fair and had cookies and cream & peach yogurt plus some Japanese pancake balls.
They then entered Crystal Jade at around 5pm where the 2 of them feasted on Egg Yolk Cereal Prawn, Prawn Paste Chicken & Tofu Cubes with Salt & Pepper, accompanied by white rice.
Feeling bloated, they left Crystal Jade Kitchen at 545pm to walk around the food fair again and were proud of themselves for resisting the ice cream that was calling out to them.
To aoid the sinful temptations, they went to shop for clothes instead.
However, around 7pm, Kei Jung announced that she was hungry and was pleasantly surprised to know that Kei Tiang felt the same but was bashful to say.
So the 2 hungry girls went in search of Sushi Tei to satisfy Tiang's craving for sashimi.
There they had sahimi, 2 plates of unagi sushi, weird vegetables disguised as soft shell crab, prawn sushi, soft shell crab maki and mochi ice cream.
So the $70+ dollars the girls spent that fateful day were all on food.
They left Orchard in a hurry lest they start having weird cravings again.
*Story is non-fictional but the names of the sisters have been changed so as to save them any embarrassment for being such HUGE eaters.

sk's mum was diagnosed with leukemia abt 3 months ago and yesterday me & yy went to visit her.
i don't know what i was expecting but i was definitely surprised to see that her mum and the other patients in the same ward were cheerful and optimistic and one would not have guessed they were ill if not for the nurses and medical machines they were surrounded by.
call me paranoid but after that i went to crystal jade to pack xiaolongbao and other dim sum for my mum coz i love her more than i can say.
anyway, jiayou to sk & her family, esp her mum & fellow patients!
