i finally found time to blog as we were sent home early from work as there was really no one at the club.
so it was day that could have been better spent.
what i am looking forward to is tomorrow when i have made plans to fika, take a slow walk to gamla and have a picnic there.
i really love the weather now but i wish the temperature wouldnt drop so drastically at night.
i hate having to bring extra clothes when i leave the house if i have to keep from freezing on my way back.

gd luck to all having exams now! :)

I take a look out of my window,
The sun today seems so bold.
I get tricked into thinking it is warm outside,
But in fact it is so cold that i suffer frostbite.
So now many many layers i wear everyday,
That'll have to be the case until spring comes in May.

Though the people here are kind and nice,
I am doubting if the singapore sun is worh the price.
Many friends and places and culture i have grown to love here,
These memories i will hold always very dear.
Life here has definitely been a great experience,
But i am still looking forward to going home to a familiar ambience.

this is a picture of how i think i look like in my bubble jacket, the one my friends call "garbage bag".

here is part 2 of my copenhagen trip:
while lunching at KFC and being undecided about our next stop, we realised we were right beside Ripley's Museum and spontaneously decided to visit it!

first thing upon entry was to have a fight with my roomie!

a toilet bowl shaped photograph.

this man dared us to lift the leave and then he goes "HOHOHO, show me yours and i'll show u mine!"
???

i am on my way to becoming the HUGEST man on the universe!

8 legged goat!

getting dizzy from this turning tunnel bridge.

2 headed goat.

made from toasts.

man with 2 pupils in each eye.

we then visited the adjoining "world of Hans Christian Andersen", who is a famous author of many well-known fairytales.

the emperor's new clothes.

little mermaid.

the matchstick girl.

thumbelina.

toy soldier.

so that was all for copenhagen.

in general, the whole city was really very intirguing but the people werent exactly friendly.

i will try to blog about barcelona soon because this term's work seems to be so much heavier than the last!

this is the 4th and hopefully last time i am trying to blog about the copenhagen trip.

copenhagen is a really beautiful city that i would definitely want to visit because we had to cut our trip short due to easter holidays and also many of the places of attractions only open in summer!

because the hotel we booked refused to give us a room since we arrived past their reception hours, we searched hard for a hotel as many were fully booked since there was some major football match going on!

we were lucky to get the last room in Saga Hotel.

the wide array of tourist info available!

our room!
notice that we even have a LCD screen.

breakfast with a view.

our food.

first sightseeing stop: rosenborg castle:

we arrived just in time to witness the changing of the guards.

i think the tall furry hats they wear are really cute!

our next stop: the round tower.

the seemingly never ending road up.

a very interesting room on our way up.

chinese characters: ME!

us.

famous; my fren's dumb thumb.

water.

helpless!

my attempt to steal the peanuts.

the view at the top of the round tower made the climb upwards all worthwhile!

from another angle.

i thought this photo was hilarious!
it is also gives u an idea how strong the wind was!

a proper one!

danish food for lunch was disappointing!

each of this dish costs abt sgd20 but it was not tasteful and even more not filling.

but the lady boss was so nice we had to take a photo with her outside the pub before we went to KFC for lunch part 2.
