i went to sleep when de sun rose n woke up when de sun sets.

anyway yesterday work was fun, i really enjoyed it and i'm looking forward to work next and every friday.
i really like de pple at varmlands nation coz they're so warm n friendly and helpful.
well, the regulars that is.
they are actually volunteers, that is they work there every week, longer hrs than us and without pay.
something like hall activities.
and yet they never ever grumble, they are so cheerful and they dun mind mopping floors or scrubbing toilets with us.

honestly i will definitely consider working for a swedish firm in future coz i have heard that the swedes supervisors hold no airs and i think that is a really important criteria for my ideal superior.

well, so i reached home at abt 5am coz we left our bikes in sch so we walked home.
and now, at 4pm, i just woke up, i am hungry but i cant go over for dinner but its snowing crazily and it doesnt look like its gonna get better so i am eating a banana.
i am tempted to eat pizza but my room-mate is not ard to share with me! :(

on another note, i finally got my mum's parcel on thurs!
had to walk to some ulu area to get it myself but at least one skinny but strong fren helped me lug the box and my groceries back!
haha.

i was initially angry wif my mum coz she spent $100+ to send me some unnecessary stuff.
a comforter (when i alr have 2 quilts! n i still have no bedsheet n i'm using my fren's pillowcase!)
a thermal flask (when my roomie and i alr have 3!)
koko krunch?!! (i din noe whether to laugh or cry! we get cereal here and thou it is a little pricier, the shipping price is exorbitant!)
hangers (not really necessary but useful)

the 2 most impt things were my international student card(which i cant believe i left at home!) and instant noodles! but of coz being the health freak she is, she bought some instant noodles which are non-fried and no msg!

well, this morn while i was still at work my mum called to ask me wad i want n says she wans to send it over to me in time for chi new yr.
i m very touched.
oh, and she also wrote me a letter in the parcel and though i can only make out the vague idea coz of her cursive chi characters, it got me all emo.
n i suspect de reason why i slept so long this morn is coz the comforter my mum sent me made me feel so snug and homely!

well, that aside, yest i decided to be a virtuous wife and make my own pineapple tarts!
since my roomie has been craving for them, i wanted to give her a surprise when she comes back from norway!
