well, my spirits were lifted tremendously after work.

papa, mummy, kaikai, siewkia & i went to play badminton at eunos cc.
my parents have been revealing a different side of them to me lately.

badminton wif kk & mummy last sat:
mummy won ME; that is equivalent to possesing FANTASTIC skills.
well, kk thrashed us so i guess she must be a badminton goddess.

this evening: papa beat kk easily.
and me & mummy both got our revenge at kk :)
sk was gdgdgd too.

thne after working out for about 1.5hr, the four of us headed to kfc and shared 2 buddy meals with additional 2 cheese fries.

btw, the adventurous ghoul inside me just had to try the spicy cheese fries and it sucks big time coz the cheese tasted sour and spoiled.

i wan to play badminton with my dad more often coz i think its nice to see him workout.
i wan him to lead a healthier lifestyle and lose that tummy :)

now, if only i can find my camera charger, its only a month old!

why do i set myself up to be disappointed yet again?

well, xmas eve wif clarice & gang was better than expected and i really did enjoy myself :)
i din bring my camera so i'm just waiting for pple to send me pics!

today, as per every xmas, vid invited us to her hse for dinner.
wad was different this yr though, was the evil host starving us while we were forced to play an evil game of snakes and ladders where the grids we landed on could require us to down single or double shots of vodka, truth or dare etc.

and so i slept at 12am and woke up 6 hrs later naturally, no alarm, no nagging mum or tugging sis or wadever.
this is not the first time.
last week i went to sleep at 8pm and woke up at 2am by myself.
and on both occasions, i was damn tired and thought that i would knock out the whole day!
sigh, i think i have lost my ability to sleep 18hrs a day, at one go! :(

It was a really gd trip, i like the peaceful island, we all had fun.
the downside was the weather though which made the terrains more unstable than ever.

anyway, we had dinner at this seafood place at changi village and the food was yummy at reasonable prices. i wan to go back there and eat crab someday!

Today made me realise my plans seldom materialised.
No east coast today, no blading, no turkish food.

However, i still had a really gd time meeting up with sk.
its amazing how we haven met for so long and yet we gabble away so smoothly, catching up right where we left off.
anyway, after braving a storm to meet her at parkway, we had a horrible filling expensive dinner at pastamania(my latest hate), we walked some sports store and Giant and i bought 2 badminton rackets.

Not professional kind, but not too lousy, one for mummy and one for me.
i am so looking forward to playing badminton with mummy & kk tml morning.
and of coz cycling at pulau ubin thereafter.
i pray hard it wouldnt rain.

anyway so me and sk decided to take a walk along katong and we walked all de way to my hse where she took bus home.
i love long walks with gd company; nothing beats that heartwarminess.

my lids are heavy and i wan to sleep but i'm waiting for my hair to dry.
it annoys me that a few pathetic strands take so long to dry.

sigh. i had fried rice and hotplate tofu which made me soo sleepy for lunch i had to keep sms-ing under the table to stay awake.

thank god some vendor sent us a HUGE turkey and a log cake and my droopy eyes lit up immediately.
We took the log cake as a convenient birthday cake and went downstairs to celebrate the receptionist's bdae.
I duno why i'm so hungry today, my tummy keeps growling.

anyway, they decided to give the turkey away to management so we wun be getting to taste it.

the one consolation is i'm gg to eat TURKish food later!!!!!!!!!

haha, a group of pple just came into the office singing xmas songs, acocmpanied by the guitar.
its so cool la, very heartwarming and it gets my mood all into the festive season.

ohh.. my supervisor is finally back so off i go!

all right, i know i shouldnt blog twice in about 1 hr into work but my supervisor's gone christmas caroling and didnt let me follow unless i sing too.

And so she left asking me to draft some transport policy which i absolutely have no idea how to even start and thus i've been surfing the net, blog hopping and such.

anyway, since i have misplaced my organiser(amidst many other stuffs) in the process of moving back into hall, i am going to list down my activities for the next few days just for my own tracking.

ok, i'm back to rant about the woes of having the x chromosome.
its the time of the month again and this morning i woke up with cramps which really made me want to stay at home.
of coz, i couldnt do that coz my dad was in so i dragged myself out of #04-16.
despite being late, i ventured on a longer route to work but regretted it when i met my supervisor at the lift lobby 15mins past the time i was supposed to be in the office.

anyway, hari raya haji yesterday was spent watching my first R21 show: The Heartbreak Kid.
honestly, i think the movie's a total no-brainer, i've never watched a dumber show, theres no plot, the ending sucks, and i left feeling like it was a total waste of my time and money.

well, on a random note, i dun think i am very satisfied with my pri school teachers.
i used to learn that the hard shell of animals is to protect them. why then, do snails get killed by walking humans so often?

the sight of a squashed snail this morning made me realise that no matter how tough a front one puts up, there will always exist someone powerful enough to break that shield.
And that certainly applies to us, humans as well.

to end off, the only bright side of getting my period is the excuse to binge on chocs to keep the period blues away. :)

but i was sad that the hse was quiet by 12am.
this yr many fewer pple compared to previous yrs msged/called me. :(

ok. so i have to go settle my visa on my 21st coz its my last free weekday.
den i realised that i got to have my student card.
and i left my matric card in hall.
minutes ago, my nus ezlink card was found to be at hengmuikeng too.
great, so on this morning, i have to travel to nus, the bank, to swedish embassy and den to harborfront again all by 12pm.

wad a horrid way to start the day.
